Career
Released in 2016, “Main Teri Tu Mera” was Jazz Sodhi’s debut in the Punjabi Film Industry. She was seen as the lead female actress in this rom-com movie by Ksshitij Chaudhary. She got good recognition for her wonderful performance in her debut movie. This film turned out to be a hit at the Box office. Artists like Roshan Prince and Mankirt Aulakh also played an important role in making this movie a successful one.
Here’s something worth knowing. Jazz never went for a single audition for this lead role in the movie. In fact, the movie producers approached and offered her the role themselves. They did so because they were highly impressed by her profiles on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
After the success of “Main Teri Tu Mera”, Jazz got numerous offers for different films as well as TV serials. In the same year, Jazz was chosen to play the role of ‘Sursuri’ in Zee TV’s show called “Icchapyaari Naagin”. This show did nothing special but surely made way for Jazz to catch the eyes of directors and producers of the Hindi Films Industry.
